OCT 23 UPDATE


A new patch for PS4 and Xbox One (Nov. 15th) has been released which fixes the following:

  • Fixed a black screen occurring in Season Two, Episode 3
  • Fixed audio issues occurring in Season Two


In order to receive the patches, please quit your game if it is running and restart from your console dashboard.  If you are connected to the internet, it should download automatically.  


SEPT 12 UPDATE - We are aware of current bugs facing the PS4 platform.  We are happy to report that PATCH V1.02 LIVE which should fix the black screen issues. 

Thank you all once again for your patience – you can find the update available on your Playstation® console now! 


If you currently have the game installed or have the disc in your console, please start your PS4 while connected to the internet and highlight the game's icon on your dashboard. Press Options on your controller, then select Check for Updates. This should trigger downloading the new patch if it doesn't immediately start when your PS4 boots.


If you do not have the game installed, please redownload from your Library or directly from the PlayStation Store. You will receive the full version with all patches.


The above steps will give you Version 1.02. If you launch the game before all 48 GB installs, you may still see an Installing message if you select a season or the character viewer. However, the message will show a timer with however much time is left before the game finishes installing that portion.


While the remainder of the game is installing, you may not see a progress bar on the PS4 dashboard. To see the installation progress, please view the Notifications section on your PS4. You will see the download and installation progress of the full game.


If these steps do not resolve the issue, please fully delete the game, then go into your console's Application Save Data management menu and delete the save data for the game. Next, please restart your console, and then redownload the game from the PS Store or your Library - this will give you the full version with all patches at once. Again, please ensure you wait for the full game to install with all patches before launching it.

Depending on your platform, there are a couple of general fixes that you can try if you are having starting your game.  


Console

  • Please try completely exiting the game and restarting your console (Xbox/PS4/Switch/etc.) - then reopen the game to check for an update. 
  • Make sure you're fully connected to the internet with no firewalls or interruptions! 
  • Also, please make sure your console or platform is updated to the latest possible version! 


PC

  • Please try completely exiting the game and restarting your computer - then reopen the game to check for an update. 
  • Make sure you're fully connected to the internet with no firewalls or interruptions! 
  • Also, please make sure your computer, graphics drivers, and game player are updated to the latest possible version!

If you still cannot overcome any bugs, please try a fresh install of the game - after making sure that you have backed up your save files!
