First of all, thank you for being here with us and all your feedback we've gotten so far. We love hearing your opinions on the game and the experience you had with Before Your Eyes, so keep them coming!
We try to read all your posts on the forum and help out on the spot while taking notes for the patching work we do.
The first patch is now live and here's the list of changes it includes:
GRAPHICS – there was an issue with the game’s visuals appearing blurry to some players if they were using lower spec PCs while setting the graphics on high. It was due to the way the game detects your blinks and how that works within the game’s engine. After the patch, BYE should run with higher FPS and with sharper visuals on lower or below-minimum spec machines.
QUALITY OF LIFE – we heard you when you said the “the “non-detection” mode and “on-screen camera feed” feature were not as easily accessible as they could be.. We’ve changed that and both modes can now be toggled in the main menu.
QUALITY OF LIFE – we’ve added a new chapter point towards the end of the game, titled "Pain."
Black screens on low spec machines should no longer occur
More cameras should now be more easily detected and used
Addressed the reported Steam achievement issues
Include webcam overlay during credits
Other minor changes and fixes
Thank you for being here with us and your amazing support!
