[PLEASE READ] Statue Cancellation and FAQ

After much internal discussion and looking at multiple options, we unfortunately have decided to cancel production of The Walking Dead Definitive Series’ Lee and Clem statue from Level52. 

 

If you are a customer who elected to receive the statue as part of the Guardian or Signature Pack of The Walking Dead: The Definitive Series, you will receive a $150 refund as a measure of our appreciation for your patience. This will be delivered via check by March 31, 2023.  

 


Why was this project canceled?  

We very much wanted to see this statue in the hands of fans, but as production continued, we encountered many setbacks – from design challenges and production delays to massive global supply chain issues from the COVID-19 pandemic that impacted all collectibles manufacturing. In addition to these challenges, ultimately, the statue has not met our high expectations in depicting Lee and Clementine.  

 

I pre-ordered the statue from Skybound.com. How do I get my refund?  

All affected customers should have received an email this afternoon directly from Skybound informing them of this update. Everyone that pre-ordered the statue from Skybound.com will be getting a full refund at the point of purchase.

When can I expect to receive my refund?  

All affected customers can expect to receive refunds by March 31, 2023.  

 

Do I need to do anything to get my refund? 

No, there is no action needed from you for Skybound to process your refund. However, if you think you are an affected customer and have not yet received an email from Skybound, please reach out to statue@skybound.com  

 
I’ve moved since I ordered The Walking Dead: The Definitive Series. What should I do?  

Since we’ll be issuing physical checks to these affected customers, please notify Skybound at statue@skybound.com 

 

Will there be another statue coming in the future? 

We have no plans to make a new statue at this time. 

 

How will future collectibles orders be handled?  

Skybound is actively reviewing our logistics and customer service processes to inform the changes necessary to better serve our fans. We have long prided ourselves on being a company dedicated to both fans and creators, and we’re going to do all that we can to make sure that we treat them right.
